Spider Plant/Ribbon Plant – (Chlorophytum comosum)
This old-school plant is making a resurgence as it is very hardy, will thrive in a wide range of conditions and is hard to kill. This is an excellent plant for the beginner indoor gardener. Also known as the “Hen and Chicks” this plant is perfect in a pot in any room. Or plant in a hanging basket to get maximum impact from its “spiderettes”.
Care: medium to bright light; water moderately; fertilise occasionally during growing season
