Variegated German Ivy/Natal Ivy/Cape Ivy – (Delairea Odorata)
This lovely plant is not actually an ivy at all, but is so called because it looks quite like English ivy. Originating in Southern Africa, Delairea Odorata is part of the daisy family. It’s a hardy plant that does not require much attention. In its variegated form it has delicate leaves and pretty pink stems. Its beautifully shaped leaves and trailing habit make it an excellent choice for placing on shelves or in hanging baskets, or it can be clipped to achieve a more compact, bushy specimen.
Care: bright, indirect light; water regularly; fertilise every 2 – 3 weeks in growing season.
