Fishbone Prayer Plant – (Ctenanthe Burle-Marxxi)

Like Calatheas, Ctenanthes are popular indoor plants owing to their striking foliage. The Ctenanthe Burle-Marxxi is one of the prayer plants which spread their leaves during the day to absorb light and then droop in the night to rest (showing off their attractive burgundy underside). The pale-green, oval-shaped leaves make a great contrast to the deep-green herringbone overlay. 

Care: Bright, indirect light; water little but often; fertilise every two months.
