Be still my beating heart! Like Calatheas, tropical Alocasias have a great range of options with amazing, striking foliage. The Silver Dragon is perhaps one of the more subdued specimens but who can resist its gorgeous silver green leaves with dark green veining and the appearance of dragon's scales? This is a standout in any plant collection. The Silver Dragon is quite compact making it an ideal house plant. Alocasias love humidity so if you are in a dry area a humidifier or pebble tray is a good idea.

Care: bright, indirect light; water moderately; fertilise regularly in growing season.
