Alocasia Quilted Dreams or Puffy Elephant Ear – (Alocasia Scalprum)

Native to the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand this Alocasia is known for its large, glossy, heart-shaped leaves with a quilted or puckered surface.  Alocasias love humidity so if you are in a dry area a humidifier or pebble tray is a good idea.

Care: bright, indirect light; water moderately; fertilise regularly in growing season.
