Zanzibar Gem – (Zamioculcas Zamiifolia)
As its common name suggests, this easy-to-care for plant hails from East Africa. Its large, fleshy stems store water and it is renowned for needing very little moisture and attention. A perfect plant for beginners but also one that is popular with seasoned plant parents because it just looks so good! Gems will handle a variety of indoor conditions but no direct sunlight.
Care: medium to low light; water moderately; fertilise occasionally during growing season.
